Robert Jweinat specializes in corporate formation and governance, immigration, and estate planning. Known as a trusted problem solver and dynamic deal architect, Robert’s clients rely on his strategic counsel and ability to navigate complex legal challenges with clarity and foresight.
Robert began his legal career at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where he clerked in the Fraud and Corruption Division investigating cyber and white-collar crimes. Returning to his hometown of San Francisco, he joined the Public Defender’s Office, where he clerked on a wide range of complex felony and misdemeanor cases. With the rise of the dot-com resurgence, Robert shifted to the private sector, clerking with law firms in Silicon Valley on corporate formation and investment management for early-stage technology startups. It was there that he developed his passion for innovation and supporting entrepreneurs.
Robert pivoted his career to take on a strategic leadership role centered on revenue development and client engagement, working with some of the most dynamic companies in the tech ecosystem—including AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, and Epsagon, all of which were successfully acquired by Cisco, and Instana, successfully acquired by IBM. He continues to advise and mentor technology startups and founders across various industries and is currently an advisor to several high-growth companies, including Steadybit, a platform focused on resilience and reliability engineering. Robert provides legal and strategic guidance to investors and entrepreneurs from startup through scale. His expertise spans entity formation, corporate governance, debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, licensing deals, and other mission-critical business transactions.A startup founder and angel investor himself, Robert is the co-founder of AmpLabs.ai, Inc., a company focused on battery observability for the energy industry, and Mark73Six, Inc., a strategic advisory firm helping tech entrepreneurs with market segmentation, go-to-market strategies, and peer group networking.
In addition to his legal and entrepreneurial work, Robert was elected to public office in November 2024 and proudly took the oath of office as a Council Member for the City of San Ramon on December 10, 2024. As a public servant, Robert brings his legal expertise and business acumen to local government, helping shape the future of his community through innovation, policy, and civic leadership.
Robert is admitted to practice law in California, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
